Overnight, the PLAN aircraft carrier Liaoning (CV 16) transited through the Taiwan Strait under the watchful eyes of a US Air Force RC-135U Combat Sent and US Navy P-8A Poseidon, assisted by a pair of USAF KC-135 Stratotankers. There were 2 other aircraft in the area as well, likely PLA related.

昨晚，中國人民解放軍海軍「遼寧號」航空母艦（CV 16）在美軍 RC-135U「戰鬥哨兵」偵察機和 P-8A「海神」反潛巡邏機的嚴密監視下，穿越台灣海峽，並由兩架美軍 KC-135「同溫層加油機」提供空中支援。附近海域還有另外兩架飛機，很可能與解放軍有關。
